A Car Lover's Dream

Rows of parking spaces were filled with chrome and colorful bodies as classic cars and trucks congregated in Petro Stopping Center’s parking lot Sunday in Kingdom City. The gathering was not a car show, but an escort for one car lover: Wyatt Salmon. Wyatt has terminal brain cancer and is traveling to Las Vegas with his family on a trip organized by the Central Missouri Dream Factory. The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office invited classic car and truck owners to send off Wyatt Salmon on the first leg of his trip: a limo ride to St. Louis Lambert International Airport.
